Objective: Positioning Centro Universitário Belas Artes as an institution that prepares students for the work market.
Strategies: Belas Artes attended the Salon Satellite Milan, the world’s main design show, focused on young designers and part of the Salone del Mobile Milano.
In partnership with journalist and design critic Marcelo Lima, Marqueterie formulated the institution’s participation at the event, which was a crucial platform to bring their students closer to the market and the international media.
Belas Artes’ participation at the Salon Satellite, in April 2016, with the presence of 8 students and curated by Marcelo Lima. It was the only Latin American university present at the Exhibit.
In August of the same year, Belas Artes invited, in partnership with company Docol, the founder and creator of the Salon Satellite, Marva Griffin, to attend the university’s Design Week. Visiting the institution and seeing its rich production led her to, unprecedently, invite Belas Artes to participate, for the second consecutive time, of the Salon’s 20th edition.
A few months later, in April 2017, 8 students selected through an internal bid curated by Marcelo Lima, arrived in the 20th Salon Satellite.
